The seismic event of moderate magnitude, had a depth of 171.7 kilometers with epicenter at 125 kilometers southwest of the city of San Cristobal, Tachira state, specifically in the city of Bucaramanga in Colombia. The latitude was 6,912 º N with a length of -72.95 ° W.
As announced President Guy Vernáez Venezuelan Foundation of Seismological Research (Funvisis), an entity under the Ministry of Popular Power for Science, Technology and Industry Middle, "This earthquake was felt by the population of San Cristobal due to magnitude, but fortunately there is any human or material damage. "
