QZDASOINIT QZDASOINIT Work serve ODBC connections of users and / or remote applications made from the client (PC or server). These works are executed with the user QUSER.
QZDASOINIT prestart job is a subsystem QUSRWRK; to see these entries using the command DSPSBSD SBSD (QUSRWRK) and select 10 "Prestart job entries. In these entries we can see, with option 5, the configuration of the service and especially the initial number of jobs and maximum number of jobs allowed.
To start service (needs to taken off the subsystem QSERVER) :
STRHOSTSVR SERVER (* DATABASE)
The database server daemon is started in the QSERVER subsystem
The daemon job is named QZDASRVSD. The associated server jobs
are named QZDASOINIT, QZDASSINIT, and QTFPJTCP.
Para detener el servicio:
ENDHOSTSVR SERVER(*DATABASE)
The active connections being serviced by the
QZDASOINIT and QZDASSINIT server jobs will be ended.
The server jobs servicing these connections will be
ended.
Si ejecutamos el mandato WRKACTJOB JOB(QZDASOINIT) vemos, rĂ¡pidamente, which users are currently online service, and that since V5R4 of OS400 this mandate was modified to show Current User User column, if no one currently connected QUSER shown.
